Our awesome features
A multichannel equalizer enabling classic and linear phase real time filtering. All typical filter types and their parameters are adjustable.
A mono/stereo compressor providing Peak and RMS level measurement as well as knee, lookahead, stereo link, makeup gain and a percentage dry/wet mix. Everything you need for a solid compression.
A program dependent true peak limiter with it's unique feature of not having gain and ceiling controls. M4S optimizes those controls depending on the platform you produce for - so you can entirely focus on sound.
We mainly implemented the ITU-R BS.1770-4 algorithm for LUFS calculation and true peak measuring. We also offer an extremely easy to use api (when you are a JUCE user).
The key feature of M4S is the magic limiter which can automagically adjust your track to a specified target loudness.
Our goal was to implement a natural feeling modern looking user interface that is both fitting for pros and beginners in audio mastering.
